Company Continues to Build Momentum for Sixth Consecutive Quarter with 363% License Revenue Growth, Expanded New Customers and Partners

PLANO, TX- Fuego, the thought leader in agile business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that it has achieved 363 percent license revenue growth during Q1 2005 as compared to Q1 2004. The company also announced that total revenue grew by 139 percent versus Q1 2004 and by 22 percent over Q4 2004. Fuego added 11 new enterprise-level customers in the quarter, each spanning the full process life cycle, as well as expanded current customer installations. The company continued to expand its distribution reach through the announcement of two new OEM relationships and four new international resellers.

The company pointed to the continued success of FuegoBPM, its award-winning BPM product, the global increase in BPM and service-oriented architecture (SOA) market awareness, as well as a strong shift away from departmental solutions towards the adoption of enterprise-wide process development platforms as the three main drivers for its continued growth during the first quarter.

FuegoBPM is an advanced software platform that enables companies to easily and rapidly achieve the promised benefits of a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Customers can model their business processes, define key performance indicators (KPI's), simulate them, connect those processes to people and systems, run them, manage process exceptions and measure, monitor and optimize their effectiveness, at a fraction of the time, effort and cost of proprietary infrastructure solutions from companies such as IBM, Tibco, BEA Systems and others.

"The company continues to add customers and partners because the product truly delivers the value that companies are looking for when deploying large-scale BPM platforms to complement their service-oriented architectures (SOA)," said Jon Lauck, president and CEO, Fuego. "Our clients tell us that FuegoBPM's small footprint, standards-based interoperability, enterprise-level performance and low cost, delivers a terrific alternative to the cobbled-together, proprietary solutions other vendors are trying to deliver at ten times our cost."

According to Fuego users, the ease-of-use, comprehensive capabilities, scalability, reliability, open architecture and value-based pricing of FuegoBPM were strong differentiators identified during head-to-head platform/infrastructure and pure-play BPM competitive product evaluations. The company continued to garner attention with the latest release of FuegoBPM. In addition to announcing full .NET Assemblies introspection and execution support and being certified as "Microsoft .NET Connected" in the first quarter, FuegoBPM version 5.5 was also selected as a finalist in the fifth annual eWeek Magazine Excellence Awards for "Best Business Integration Software".

In August 2004, Fuego implemented a free 30-day download program that allows qualified companies to easily and confidently evaluate the entire FuegoBPM Studio product before buying. FuegoBPM Studio is a comprehensive development platform that allows process designers to model processes, define KPIs, simulate their performance, integrate to applications, systems and people and run them to interactively test their results. Competing vendors only offer a modeling tool or other product subset as a download, making customer evaluation difficult. Since its inception, more than 1,000 users have downloaded the product to take advantage of the free evaluation offer.
