Connecture Appoints Mary Franz as Chief Operating Officer
Atlanta, GA – December 9, 2005 - Connecture today announces the appointment of Mary Franz as Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2006. After an extensive interview and screening process, Mary was chosen as the ideal candidate because of her extensive experience in a number of business roles within the health care technology industry, and her excellent record of success. Mary brings a clear focus on operations, and an enhanced ability to manage growth. Mary brings to Connecture 20 years of experience growing professional services, software and technology businesses in the health care market. Before joining Connecture, Mary was an Executive Vice President and Officer at First Consulting Group (FCG), (NASDAQ: FCGI), where she positioned the company as a leader in health care consulting and systems integration services. There, Mary managed a staff of 600. Before First Consulting, Mary was a lead partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers health care practice where she brought large scale IT transformation services to the managed care market. She began her career as a Systems Analyst and Consultant and advanced through management positions in sales, software implementations, business process engineering, continuous improvement, and operations. Mary received her MBA in Operations Research from Purdue University and her bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Indiana University. Mary will be responsible for directing the day-to-day management of Connecture’s operating units, including network operations, professional services and practice management.
